Alabama is a state in the United States. Alabama is located in the southeast of the United States, bordered by Georgia (east), Florida (south) Mississippi (west), Tennessee (north) and is bathed in Mississippi (north), Georgia and the Gulf of Mexico (south). The capital of the state, Montgomery, is known for its significant contribution to its role in the Civil Rights movement in the mid-20th century. This includes the Montgomery Bus Boycott. The city of North Alabama, Huntsville is called “the the city of rockets”, Auburn is a college town due to the importance in the history of Auburn University and to the south, the resort town of Gulf Shores. Gulf Shores is on the gorgeous Gulf coast.
