Broadway Bridge is one of the most photographed bridges in New York City. The live cam on the bridge gives visitors a unique view of life in the West Bronx. The bridge, which carries traffic from the Grand Concourse in the Bronx to Fordham Road in the borough of The Bronx, is one of the five on-ramps for Interstate 678 (I-678). The bridge, which was completed in 1931, is the only one in New York City that is still called a “bridge and tunnel” between Manhattan and the Bronx. The bridge’s name derives from a steel truss bridge built at the same location in 1869.
